SaD 022 - Balmy

I noticed I haven't done a full color Laira yet, so time to change that.

I was also sick of her always being on dark backdrops, so I thought this'd be a fun transition.

Spent way longer on this than I had intended :/ Still only took me a few hours. This would have taken me days before I started doing these Sketch a Days!

I also had a plaster on my finger for this. It's shocking how much harder it is to maneuver a pen accurately with a thin piece of cloth on your finger tip.

Fins are a little waaaay darker than I'd realised. Woops. Also, she's supposed to have big hands, but these are friggin gigantic. Need to pay closer attention to that.

EDIT: I've been trying to figure out why Laira looks so out of place in this picture. It just occurred to me that I forgot to add a tinge of green environmental lighting to her, so of course she looks out of place. Woopsy~
