This is a terribly boring picture. I don't really mind though since it's a first draft.

This is another would be character from that prison game I keep yammering on about. Like all the others, I've never drawn him before, so I expect him to change a lot over the next dozen or so iterations. Basically the only thing I had in mind going into this were those Cheetah style legs and that he'd have several other prosthetic mods.

Things I definitely want to change:
Bulk him up. I want him all muscly.
Rejig those arms so they're not so hideously boring. They probably won't be so human shaped next time.
Maybe give him hair. I'm leaning towards dreadlocks.

I don't actually have a name for this guy yet (for the sake of convenience, let's call him Tom for the moment). All I have is a vague back story:

Tom was a leg breaker for a crime syndicate, up until he accidentally killed someone during a routine job. Wracked with guilt, he turned himself in and now resides in jail, swearing to never kill again.

Prison sentences in this universe are extreme for even the lowest of crimes, but prisoners are able to opt into different programs to speed up their release. Community service will barely chip away at a sentence, but things like volunteering your body for medical experimentation will take large chunks off your stay.

More as a sort of penance than actually trying to reduce his sentence, Tom put himself forward for medical prosthesis research, hoping that he'd be contributing to society. Unfortunately, once he'd signed himself over, he was actually drafted into the military applications wing of the prosthesis R&D and has been turned into a killing machine. To overcome his disposition against murder his brain has also been tinkered with - allowing his controllers to make him think he wants to do things he later knows he never would.

This guy was basically created out of my interest in prosthesis. As soon as prosthetic limbs can be made that are just as good as natural ones I would definitely be up for getting my limbs swapped out. I'd much rather be sporting something like this than my boring ol' flesh one. Plus, I could totally go for some extra degrees of movement. Sometimes 7 just isn't enough.

So how close to the new Nathan Spencer are you gonna make him?
