SaD 045 - Progress

Now that's just mean, Myrine.

As much as I love Myrine, I should get used to the idea that she's probably been replaced by Scythana. Well, probably not replaced and more that Myrine eventually became Scythana as Alex worked on the character. You can still see some of her design carried between the two of them - namely her bangs and ponytail.

Characters I design change on a week to week basis and Alex has been designing Skullgirls for over a decade at this stage - it's kind of understandable that characters would change.

Also, I should mention that as far as I can tell there's never been an official colored picture of Myrine so I made up that color scheme. Since Skullgirls was released and we got a look at Scythana I guess she's supposed to be a blonde. Ah well, if she doesn't really exist anymore I guess I can color her however I want!

Scythana came out pretty badly here. Was in a pretty big rush. I quite like Myrine though, despite her arms being way too short.

I also had to do some post production on these pencils because I mistakenly made the two characters the same height. Scythana is shown to be 12 feet tall in the game, but some quick maths shows Myrine is closer to 10 feet tall.
